Gender inequality

Gender inequality is one of the major issues in the world. It is also the cause of many issues in many areas of life. Most commonly household chores are associated with women, whereas earning money to maintain the family system is linked with men. But nowadays, the world is disputing gender equality. People believe that men and women are equal and responsibilities should not be associated with genders. But everyone should be free to select what responsibility they want to carry.

Gender inequality can be seen everywhere. In schools, homes, and working areas. Men are considered braver than women and thus have more support than them. Also, men are considered heroic as they are physically stronger than women. And women are considered weak creatures.

So having an outlook on these aspects and considering their position in society, women are more willing to the concept of gender equality. They want to prove themselves as strong as men and try to show their capability in every field, of men's too.

In educational aspects, women have fewer opportunities and also they hardly get any jobs. According to statistics, one in four girls does not get the education or is not employed as compared to one by the tenth ratio of boys.

Also, girls are less likely to go outside for earning or to live their life as compared to boys. They are supposed to stay at home and cook food and do other work. Most of the time, they are also not allowed to stroll on the streets as compared to boys. In many countries, women are also not allowed to drive cars. Especially riding a motorbike is not considered a women thing at all.

Whereas, many things are associated with women only. But such things are adapted by men too. Like makeup and jewelry. Men also want to apply makeup and jewelry. Also, the difference between men's and women's clothing has become a blur.

It is considered that women have to face more accidental injuries than men because all safety measures were made for men. Girls are likely to face forced marriages at underage and are forced to live according to the directions of men. In Africa, women must collect water from the wells, and they spend much of their time taking water to their homes. There are only six countries in the world that give women the equal legal right to work as men do.

As time progressed, with the efforts of women and the support of men, the gap between gender inequality has been reduced to some extent. Women are proving themselves in many areas of life. But still, many things need to be done to cover up this gap. And according to the study, it will take more than a hundred years. But still will leave some deficiencies because some things are impossible to be done.
